Their goal is to put disabled people to work. However, if you have been out of work for a long time they become quite unwilling to work with you. I have applied for MANY jobs and I don't feel like it's my fault that I haven't been hired. I have a Master's degree in Community Education and graduate certificate in Resource Development. My last job was as the Prospect Researcher evaluating sources of wealth, corporate foundation and individual at the largest black school in the nation. $100 million dollars campaign over 5 years. I had a glowing review from the Vice-Chancellor for Development at the school. I had been the Vice-President of my professional association of professional researchers in advancement. An organization that spanned both NC and SC. Composed primarily of the largest Higher Education and Nonprofit agencies in both states. My department in graduate school was Leadership and Higher Education. So, I find it difficult to understand why this organization was not able to help me become able to re-enter the workforce!!!

Vocational Rehabilitation is a Government service that works with people who are disadvantaged or Disabled and desire to re-enter the workforce. That is their primary function.
I only attend job club. You would have to talk to your counselor
