Some say a city is only as good as its public library system. If so, then Greensboro, NC is a pretty good place.

Great library with huge selection. There are lots of resources for students, kids, or anyone who wants internet, books, or information.

This is my go to place for friendly librarians who can help me with my technical questions when I'm working with documents as well as when I'm struggling to send things via scanning and copy services! I'm also pretty fond of actually reading old fashioned books! Hahaha you know like in the old days before people had Kindles and access to THAT new fangled thing called this here internet! Y'all come on down..they have plenty of branches everywhere around the city! I'm sure there's one close to where you live! No matter what your age, everybody can benefit from a library card! I'm sure glad my first grade teacher taught me how to read!

im not gonna shame the homeless. im only gonna hope it gets better for those of them who want it. a lot of people are just a joe biden away from being homeless themselves. yet they don't know it .

In the parking garage to the left of the library (south). First hour of parking is free, second hour is free you if you get your ticket stamped at the library. - yep, you can get two hours effectively
If you live in one of the surrounding counties you can continue to use your card after updating your address. If not, there is a refundable fee to check out items.

No. You may scan a document in and email.
Yes it is a public parking deck next to the library
You can always book a study room for an allotted amount of time (if you have a computer, because the study rooms don't have computers in them). If there are some open, then they will let you use them. However just to use the computers, you'll need at least a library card, and you can use one for 2 hours then move to another for the other 2 hours you'll need.
I know the city said they would be closed today and sunday
The only faxing can be some by scanning the document and sending through an online fax website. Any of the librarians are happy to show you.
There's a parking deck alongside the library, but i dont figure its free.. Other libraries should have free parking.. Downtown one does not... You can always call and confirm..
This is questions about places ..not questions to places... you can search for books on their website. Sincerely Dewy Decimal
Check with the library for the cost. Highly unlikely that they are going to accept a copy you buy anywhere as payment. You'll pay the cost to replace
