Recently moved to the area and set up various appointments with doctors. My wife has knee issues and went to a new orthopedic doc at Atrius Health. He scheduled a routine MRI and referred us to this facility, Weymouth MRI of Atrius Health. We have new insurance as I relocated for a new job. We asked how much the MRI would cost and was told it would be a copay. A couple months later we are supposed to receive a bill of over $1,000 for the MRI and got charged the copay and then some. We asked the right questions but Atrius Health didn't give us the correct answers, especially for a MRI that was just precautionary and not needed. Clearly we wouldn't have gotten it performed if they correctly told us what it would cost under our insurance. Rather than working with us as we understand the insurance and appeal, they call constantly threatening to send it to collections. Atrius Health practices deceptive tactics and cares about money and not patients.

The ladies at the specialty department needs training on how to attend patient’s and family. Went a Thursday morning at 8 AM and my hi was ignored by darker skin lady at the desk. My mother is 86 and we sat down on the seat. The white lady send my mom on other room for exam and comes back to say we don’t need to and tells us to follow her. My mother is 86 years old and can barely walk. She didn’t apologize and when we got to the desk she was gone. She comes out and calls another patient and left us confused. Very cold atmosphere.

I have been coming here for about 5 years, I have been treated nicely, the doctors and nurses responded to all my questions. Two weeks ago I took my little 5 yo kid for a covid test, he is autistic, the previous experience was terrible, he got panicked...This time, the doctor assistant named Mike was so patient with him so he took the sample and my kid did not complained, after the test, Mike took my kid for a tour at the hospital...Great empathy, I love this place.

I am new at this facility and went there in person to bring medical records for my two babies the secretaries are very rude and unprofessional, I tried to explain myself what I was there for and they looked at me upset, told me pediatrics is in the second floor, I was ok probably they are not having a good day, I went upstairs and there’s a big sing that says it’s closed and you need to check on the first floor, I went back to the first floor to let them know, I don’t know their routines so I thought ok maybe the second floor staff are on lunch, one of the secretaries felt bad and finally asked me for my information she insisted I need to go to the second floor, I went back again now I walked around the area and saw a lady in the desk I asked her for guidance, she said who you are looking for? She goes downstairs very upset to ask the 2 secretaries on the first floor why they were sending people to her? At this point at got concerned of bringing my kids to this place, they obviously don’t care about you getting to the correct department. I am looking for other options, made my appointment to see if the doctors experience it is different and maybe I will change my mind but those front desk employees needs training on how customers service should look like. When I was leaving the employee in the first floor called me over and said I apologize for my colleague’s rudeness where you able to give your paperwork to pediatrics? She was the only one concerned about how I was treated by going back and forth just to get to the right person. Unbelievable!
