We went for apple picking and had a wonderful time! Staff were welcoming and helpful, and their collection of apple trees had some of the best variety I had ever seen! Dog friendly too for your four-footed friends.

Great cider apples and apple crisp recipe as well. They didn’t charge much extra to sell a growler. Beautiful grounds and friendly service. I would go back. The ciders are not overloaded with sugar. Great taste, some with carbonation and some without.

I take my children to Poverty Lane every fall to pick our own apples. The people are great, the orchards are beautiful, and the apples are the best! Their heirloom apple orchard is especially fantastic where they have grown dozens of different varieties and you can try them all. Actually you can't because there are simply too many to try at once. But it makes for a far more interesting apple picking experience. They also offer wagon rides behind a tractor to get out into some of the farther orchards. In addition to this, their alcoholic cider, Farnum Hill, is far and away the best that I have ever had in this country. It dry and delicious and not the sweet six pack cider you find in most stores these days. I highly recommend that you give Poverty Lane Orchards a try!

Hi no, we don't have the peeps for that. But if you send a friend to pick apples for you, we'll advise on how they can pack and ship'em successfully!

Will you ship Macs and Cortland when they are ready?

Robyn Ricard | Sep 3, 2018
Mike Diehn | Sep 3, 2018

I'm not them. I'm just a guy who visited their and posted some pictures. :-) But, i can tell you that the Macs and Cortlands are what we were picking today and i heard that that's what they've been picking all week and last weekend. I don't imagine they ship apples, though.

No, sorry, we can't do custom pressing. We have a lot of wholesale work going on in the background, just can't squeeze in (funny?) special pressings!
