Hi Michaele - Pilgrim Faith Church does not currently have the homeless shelter running due to Covid. Our shelter is run by Beds Plus. Their number is 708-354-0858. If you are able to give them a call, they may be able to direct you to resources to help. We do have our food pantry open on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 am -12 pm, if that would help you. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do. Take care and blessings to you.

Hi Treva - No, you don't have to live in Oak Lawn to visit our pantry. We do ask that you bring a photo ID but you are able to live in the surrounding area. Thank you.

They have a program called BEDS, that uses the space on Thursday night's. Beds is in other area churches the other nights. You get dinner, a mattress and a sac lunch for the next day. I believe that BEDS has a social worker to work on long term solutions.

When are they going to accept new people meaning this... when are they going to accept new members at this church. Note: I have been going there for 2 yrs and still waiting to be accepted there as a new member.
