Gulfport is a cool place all together. We enjoy the Tuesday Market and the fire works were incredible this year down by the pier.

It is perfect for what it is. That is fishing, catching a sunset or walking off some delicious food you just discovered in quaint downtown Gulfport. I love to grab a coffee or a sandwich and head over to the pier, find a bench and take on the scene.

Fantastic minimalist pier that stretches out a long way and has plenty of fishing areas. The view is fantastic and it’s really nice that there a quite a few benches for people to sit when the need.

Not bad at the pier but the bars are open.
There is no cost but you should really get a fishing license. DNR doesn't come by frequently but it's better safe than sorry. There is no rod and reel rental at the pier but there are local shops within a 10 minute drive to rent equipment from, but you would have to call for pricing. It is a great pier to fish off of. (I actually plan to go today with my husband!) You can catch a great variety of fish here too.
No, against town ordinance, someone remove the sign from entrance to the pier, no bicycles skate boards.
No. There are places in the general area to buy them, but no rentals available.
