You wouldn’t think staring off into nothingness would be this amazing, but it truly is. Go to the end of the pier and just look. Feel the nonstop ocean breeze. Look to the horizon. Just enjoy yourself..we never miss this spot when we visit. Magical.

This was a very nice beach. I have begun a new obsession with photos of waves , an am pleased with the results from this location. The pier was quiet nice, although the day I went the wind was fierce. The beach and sand are very nice. There is a restaurant along the beach are. Ate there many years ago and it was good. There are a few cute shops before you get to the pier. Looks like folks were enjoying the fishing, even with the wind.

Awesome place to come hang out. There is a rental person on the beach that charges $50 for an umbrella and 2 chairs that you can keep until 5:30pm. They also offer 50% of each item after that. If your lucky you can get a shady spot under the pier to setup camp. The sand is HOT!! Just a heads up with small children. This is not quartz crystal like siesta key or lito. The sand here is spicy! The swimming is awesome and the sharks teeth and other rare finds are even better. There is small shop by sharksys that sells a few items otherwise checkout the bait shop on the pier. They have $1 icey pops and $1 soda and water which is dirt cheap compared in the shops.

Absolutely 💯 beautiful! Great shelling beach. Sand dollars. Lovely view. Sharkey's is delicious! And watching the pier fishing was a blast! Lucky folks.

No streaking on the pier the gulls will snatch your worm
I'm with Jayson, the dog beach is to the left of the pier. I haven't seen dogs on the pier.
I love Venice but I was only there a week. It's small and charming with nice Italian themed restaurants
Do you mean at the snack shack on the pier? Otherwise i'm not sure what kind of jobs there would be...
Nope, it’s directly behind sharky’s but you don’t have to enter the restaurant!
No charge for either. Free parking and free pier! Enjoy :)
From speaking to the locals there, shrimp, greenbacks, and simply anything you can catch in a cast net.
Yes
I did not notice any signs about the parking lot closing at specific times.
I believe it costs a small fee to fish from the pier but is free from the shore or on the Jetty.
about a month ago I was at Venice Beach for two weeks. I have a photograph of a man pulling a nurse shark from the end of the pier. It was about a hundred and twenty hundred and thirty pound nurse shark. I'm only assuming at this point that there's no problem with that. But, to be on the safe side, simply Google the Venice City authorities and ask them. the Venice local fish and wildlife department could be of some assistance as well. Better safe than sorry.
They do have fishing rods and I would have to say everything you need.
