Parking was a horrible situation at CoolToday park for the patriotic concert. Unfortunately we were able to hear 15 minutes due to waiting one hour and forty-five minutes in line to park. Realize it was a logistical problem with the park. However, the comments in the parking lot and for those arriving late the conception is focused on the Symphony. The Symphony is an awesome organization and provides outstanding entertainment for the greater Venice community. Hopefully the patrons will continue their support in spite of this snafu.

I can not understand why this organization at every concert is asking us persistently for donations when they have more than 9 million dollars in reserves. Plus land donated. Why are they are applying for grant money and why keep begging aggressively for donations. It seems very unethical to me. My brother is a big patron and often donates, he takes me to some of their wonderful concerts.Their concerts are very good, I very much enjoyed their Oscars show, one of my favorites so far. I just don't understand the constant asking for money and donations when they have more than 9 million in the bank plus valuable land.

Shared a beautiful evening with good friend at The Venice Symphony presentation of “A Night At The Oscars”. Featuring music from The Godfather, Forrest Gump, The Magnificent Seven, Rocky, and more. Maestro, Troy Quinn, is as versatile as he personable in guiding the audience with Gems of Oscar history, and not shying away from demanding tunes such as the theme from LaLa Land. Quinn’s well experienced having worked and performed with The Rolling Stones, Barry Manilow, Lee Greenwood, Jennifer Hudson, Josh Groban to name just a few. The evening featured world renown piper, Eric Rigler, who played for Titanic, “My Heart Will Go On” and Braveheart’s theme. Get a balcony seat and enjoy.

What a disappointment! I had seen an ad for a dance show featuring Chinese culture, and purchased tickets for The Venice Symphony where it was to take place. The website encouraged formal attire, so my husband and I prepared accordingly. I don't normally mention money when I write a review, but it is a key factor so I feel I must do so here. We paid $210 for two tickets, plus the cost for a new gown and accessories. We were really looking forward to our evening at the symphony for the music and the production. Unfortunately we had a crisis occur that prevented us from attending, but we happily passed our tickets on to friends who went in our stead. Well... I was embarrassed to find out that even though the tickets stated the venue was The Venice Symphony, it actually took place in the HIGH SCHOOL in Venice! Our friends drove to the symphony, only to be redirected to the high school. People were dressed in anything from shorts and T-shirts to gowns and tuxes. I won't get into reviewing the show here. There was false advertising here, and I feel like I was taken for a fool. It should have been made clear up front where the venue actually was. I don't know if I'll try the Symphony in Venice, on principle alone. One unhappy customer!
