Beautiful and secluded trail! Lots of shade, makes it walkable in any weather! My hound also had a great time with aaalllll the smells! I'll be back again 😊

Mainly just an area for locals that are willing to take the time to explore. No signs and can get easily turned around. People walk a lot with their dogs off leash and local kids playing. Not a destination hiking area for people that don't live near by. People treat it like their back yard. It's very lovely for us who live in the area but not recommended for non locals looking for proper hiking area.

The path to the lake is barely recognizable from over growth. Trail is muddy with broken branches to step on. Very small open area next to the lake. Not a place I want to go back to. The hiking trails are clear and a nice walk. If I go back it would be to walk the trails.

No signs walk into woods and stay to the right. Eventually you will make it to a small grassy inlet into lake. There is no nice shore. Your throw your towel into the reeds to hold it up. Then sink into the squishy muddy lake. No bathrooms or park facilities just some trails and the lake.

You could but there isn't really a beach, just a boat launch on the other side. You are better off going to long lake or horse shoe lake for swimming.
No camping there
