Old school NH mountain. This area needs some love, don’t go expecting resort level base lodge, or lots of different base areas/faces. It’s 4008 ft high, and the terrain is uniformly pretty steep. Not a great place for beginners, almost everything is intermediate or better. At the same time I wouldn’t say it has amazing expert runs, although a lot of the blacks weren’t open because they didn’t have enough snow. In general snow making was minimal and grooming was not frequent. Maybe Vail will put money into Wildcat next year, but for now it’s clear Mt. Snow and Okemo are the priority.

My family skied at Wildcat Mountain at the park end of February of 2018 after paying over $350 for a day of skiing. We will never go back to Wildcat again for ripping us off for unskiable conditions…. During my 25 years of skiing, I have never seen anything like that. Trails had zero coverage with just black dirt in the middle and sheet ice in sides. See photos. We specifically asked before buying tickets at the ticket counter how the conditions were and if conditions were good. We had to leave and go back to Bretton Woods just 30 mins away for absolutely amazing conditions the same day. We got vouchers from Wildcat after complaining, which were good only for that season, which we could not use because we did not ski after the February school vacation. The mountain staff should be ashamed of themselves for telling people conditions are good and selling tickets when they mountain is not skiable. Never going back.

One of the best mountains I've ever skied on! Not necessarily for beginners as most of their green trails were more challenging, but if your experienced, youre sure to have a good time. Lifts aren't too far from lodge of parking. I highly recommend!!

Probably some of the most scenic skiing of the northeast with beautiful views of Mt Adams and Mt Washington. Decent lodges and lifts although I would say this mountain is more inclined for beginners and is on the smaller side still makes for a fun day especially if you have the epic pass.

When I hiked there at the beginning of the month the lifts were not running. They do offer a scenic gondola ride but are not currently selling tickets. Check the website later in the summer.
Try Gunstock for tubing and Wildcat for skiing
Not at the moment maybe in the future
No need, but never a bad idea in case weather changes.
They're gondola only runs in the summer and it's a two-person gondola.
