Fantastic place!!! My daughter and her hubby stayed here, we had dinner with my daughter and her husband outside on the patio. Their place was really nice and very clean.😊

Barry and Deb are the most awesome hosts. The property is in a beautiful setting with the Elk River right across the road. Complete seclusion was exactly what we were looking for. Saw deer routinely behind us from Bears Den Cabin which was incredibly clean, cozy and comfortable. Felt like we were visiting family. Will definitely be back whenever we are in the area. Close to the great outdoors!

We have been going to the ranch every summer for the past 3 years and we are going back this year again! the location is remote enough that you are surrounded by nature and close enough to steamboat springs if you want more town activity. The cabins have everything you need including super plushy bathroom robes. But it is all about the activities and the company. There's riding, kayak, hiking, fishing, hot tub, dancing, the Yampa boys! and so much more! We are divided in groups by what we want to do and have amazing wranglers taking us. The kids have their own activities if they want. The ranch is not too big, so you never have too many people and you get individual attention. Then there's the food! Chef Susan makes amazing meals that will keep you asking for more! there is so much more to Elk River Guest Ranch! Once you go, you'll want to go back!

My wife and I visited the Elk River Guest Ranch in September of 2016. We had known Bex and Scott from a previous ranch. We just moved to Colorado and decided at the last minute to make the trip to the ranch. The ranch is a great experience and the hosts are the nicest people in the world. The riding is very good and scenery is great. Cabins are clean and comfortable and the food is very good also!!! It is the perfect place for a relaxing dude ranch experience.
