My kids are members of this YMCA! Paying customers, and are being treated like they don’t belong. They have experienced terrible racist comments and bad treatment from staff and other members. I would not recommend this gym to anyone. They have been getting pushed around and bullied on the basketball court, accused of “stealing”another kids keys that were later found under a bench, they have been called poor and broke. This is unacceptable behavior! Something needs to be done!

I love the pool and the staff is very friendly. It is incredibly clean. My biggest complaint is that the schedules online, in the locker room and the front desk don’t coincide causing a lot of confusion and angry members. This has happened the last two Friday’s. The information on times above is also inaccurate. This now creates multiple unnecessary phone calls to the facility from members such as myself who drive more than half an hour from Connecticut.

So far I really enjoy this place, it's great they offer daycare, the staff is very good with my little girl, they don't recommend you keep them there foe longer then 2 hours. I'm able to work out and not stress. It's the best YMCA I've been in, very clean and nice. The pools are both big and seem to Be well run

One of the best YMCA's Ive been to across the country and Ive been to many of them. Very updated, modern, and loaded with classes for everyone's taste's. The staff is ALWAYS courteous and the facilities are always clean " even if we had to deal with missing the pool for a week " haha Hey it needs to be cleaned sometime ! I notice the chemical odor is gone since the refilling and cleaning, so a year of chemicals was noticeable and it was due for it's annual overhaul for sure. The staff never fails to greet you with a " good morning, afternoon, etc when you enter and a have a great day when you leave"......though sometimes they are not consistent in knowing how to answer common questions about classes and such. One tells you one thing and another gives you a different story. I blame management for that..... not keeping the front desk employees up to date with changes ( I've noticed that 3 times in the pass 10 months ) No one seems to know the new hours, changes, or class times. Some don't even know what the class is all about or the intensity level of some classes. Its still doable and that's the only fault I find, you may have to ask a couple people and a couple times to get a question answered. Huge parking lot and even with that, at times it spills over into street parking because they are busy. I love it here and will stay with the westerly Y. I'm there every other day !

https://turnto10.com/news/local/raimondo-to-speak-on-the-rise-of-covid-19-cases-ahead-of-thanksgiving "To curb the rise of COVID-19 cases in Rhode Island, Gov. Gina Raimondo on Thursday announced a two-week statewide pause starting after Thanksgiving. The pause will run from Nov. 30 to Dec. 13."
It is an exercise program for seniors. It is a nation wide program. Google it.
They are pretty liberal about what a family is. Pretty much anyone in your household.
They do.
