Wow!! I called this department to report a tow truck driver scamming my son who is 19 out of money. Tow truck driver told my son to go to an ATM and pay him 100 to get his car off the truck. My son's car WAS parked in a legal spot! Police didn't care! Was so rude! And hung up on me! So obviously police are allowing this Patriot towing company to scam college students. Just unexceptable! So despicable! This is where your tax dollars go!! What a joke!

The attitude from every body who answers the phone in every department is unreal and deep within this organization. For years I have had to interact with them due to my job. It's the one call I dread making cause it's always a horrible experience. The other surrounding cities police departments are always pleasant to speak with and very helpful and courteous. This crude, uncultured attitude, is exclusive to Worcester Police only. Do yourself a favor and don't call them if your in a car accident. They don't document the incident, and if they do it's either inaccurate, lacking information, and or you can not read the hand written report! Prolly why they don't write em half the time. They don't have the software to have computer generated reports. All the money is spent on things that do not help the city stay safe. They never write citations, so the number of accidents just continues to grow. Take your own photos/video protect yourself get the other drivers info, witness statements etc. Better yet, get a dashboard camera, they don't lie... (from someone who has seen too much incompetence and had enough!)

3 hour minimum. It would need approval from a superior then posted. Prob not going to happen. Better off getting a private security detail/ body guard. Or just avoid the situation.
