I took my kids to Shore Park Beach today, and we had a great time! But I was also disappointed. At around 4 o'clock today it seemed like one of the lifeguards was left alone, with what seemed like over 100 people in the water and much more than that in the grass! The poor lifeguard was trying to maintain the beach, but everyone's life was at risk! The lack of support and consideration for safety of patrons AND staff, from whoever the supervisor is here, is disappointing and unacceptable. Kudos to that lifeguard for doing her best to manage the awful situation she was put in by management.

I am so happy to be back after the temporary closure, the staff is doing amazing job at keeping things clean and sanitary, taking care of guests — to put it simply they are working extremely hard with this new way of doing things. To make a reservation is super easy through the app and I am so, so beyond thankful to the YMCA for having us back. 💛

We don't have the "Water Walking Class" right now, but there are lots of other great aquatic options. Members are welcome to water walk during any open swim times. We have Day Guest Passes available for purchase at our Welcome Centers. Financial assistance is available through our Y-Access Program. Hi Angelo, Teen Guests (13-17), must be signed in by an adult, to purchase a Day Pass. Teen Guests (13-17) unaccompanied by an adult, at the time of their visit, are unable to purchase day passes. We are proud to have an affordable and manageable Teen Membership option for teens in our community. Guests 18 and older are allowed to purchase a Day Pass for $15 per day. Guests must complete the Day Pass form at our Welcome Center and a photo ID must be presented and a copy made at time of sign-in. Hi the Greendale Family Branch YMCA has 2 swimming pools. The main Alden pool is 25 yards and the heated therapy Woodbury pool is 25 meters. Hope this helps, have a great day!
