I was looking for some electronics for my RC truck. I needed a specific radio receiver to work with my radio/controller. I was told that the brand I wanted wasn’t available or manufactured any longer. I was then shown a new radio/receiver I could by in store that would cost me way more than what I was looking for. I also needed a speed controller and was shown one that cost more than the one I had in mind and had a different plug for the battery. I was told that the style plug I use was not used any longer and everything is using the style connector they had in store. I mentioned that my batteries didn’t have that connector so I was then shown the proper connector to swap out on my batteries which I really didn’t want to do. I’m so glad I didn’t make a purchase. I walked outside and looked online and found everything I wanted/needed including a motor for much less than I would’ve spent for items I didn’t want. I try to give my $ to local businesses but I find it hard when being lied to. I’ve been in the RC hobby for 30 years. Unfortunately many people don’t know any better and will believe what they are told.

It was my first time there. Not what I was expecting but was good. My son & I was able to find what I was looking, but I was looking for extra parts like body and there wasn't much.

I love this store! It’s a mom and pop, hole in wall, toy and hobby shop. The fact that it is still open with Amazon in the picture is miraculous. Support this store at every opportunity. RC cars, Trains, Lego, Barbie, models, paints, puzzles, ect.

Was happy to see Lee's open and being as safe as they possibly can. This is how you handle a pandemic the right way, zero tolerance for people's excuses and enforcement regardless of "exception". Way to put the bar high and set an example!
