I’ve eaten here from time to time transiting between Austin and Houston. The brisket was tasty and the sauce was spicy, rich, and tangy. Well today the chopped beef bbq sandwich I got was double in price (over eight bucks), and of such inferior quality, I don’t expect a return visit… There were large globs of fat and gristle literally spilling out of the sandwich, snd upon examination I found about half the chopped beef was fat. Now I understand that chopped brisket will have a certain amount of fat, but this was way beyond acceptable. I will add the server was very nice, prompt, and pleasant, but not in such a way to offset the worst chopped beef sandwich ever…. Sorry Peter, but its an F- grade fir that one.

I love this place and I am glad I made a stop here. Great customer service, delicious food and friendly environment After 3 years, the food is still amazing. The BBQ just keeps getting better.
