We are visiting family in town & I was dreading going to urgent care b/c of the reviews. My cousin convinced me to go & I ended up having an excellent experience (shout out to Deb the nurse & Emily the NP) with compassionate, competent care. I have a 27 year history of an autoimmune disease with some not so great experiences & I sometimes dread having to explain my history & advocate for myself yet again. This clinic was one of the better medical interactions I’ve had. Professional, caring and efficient. Clean, modern facility. Front desk staff was also kind & professional.

My wife a school got the flu during April vacation was supposed to go in on Sunday made appointment and was called to cancel appointment. She wasn’t able to go back until Wednesday. Now her work is asking for paperwork and because of Urgent Care Gloucester Crossing she might lose 3 days of pay.

When I called the receptionist to make an appointment the receptionist was extremely rude. I told her I had a cold with some kind of virus. She told me that i could wait in my car till they called me and told me when to come in. Then she said first come first served. Very arrogantly. I told her I don't have a car I just can't walk around Ifelt awful. She said I don't know what to tell you. I said I didn't want the appointment she said very rudley oh okay. I will never call there again. The receptionist needs some training on how to speak to the general public without being rude. Especially when someone sick they don't need an attitude from some miserable receptionist.

If you’re visiting or vacationing from out of town, do not go to this urgent care facility. While they are affiliated with a world-class medical institution, the local staff are caddy, rude, and beyond unhelpful. My wife entered the facility at 8:25am on a Wednesday in the midst of a allergic reaction with her histamines raging. The male admissions employee on duty mocked the area we came from while entering her personal information into the system. I was outside taking a phone call when my wife was brought back into the examination area. I asked the male admissions clerk to join her when I re-entered the waiting area . He said he’d bring me back after her vitals were taken. Shortly after, the administrative associate who administered my wife’s vitals came out to reception and trash-talked my wife to the female admissions clerk in a hand-over-ear whisper. Following that secret debrief, the male admissions employee “forgot” to bring me back to join my wife to help recount the chain of events leading to her allergic reaction. My wife came to the waiting room 20 minutes later very upset and asked me to join her in the examination room. Apparently the administrative assistant also trash-talked my wife to the attending physician’s assistant who conducted more of an interrogation intersperse with stern lectures versus a professional medical assessment. When I joined my wife, the PA’s stern lecture transformed into a feigned professional verbal exchange, albeit completely unhelpful. Her professional medical advise was that we contact our primary care physician 450 miles and 6 States away. This clique has every right to behave as townies but have no business administering healthcare services to visitors in this resort community.. travelers from out of town, be advised. When we called our doctor back home, he immediately called in a prescription for an EpiPen. When we returned home, we sought proper medical care. Our doctors performed a proper medical examination and found a spider bite where the inflammation, dermatitis, hives, and blisters first occurred and found a spider bite. They prescribed a 15 day regimen of Prednisone which brought the trauma under control. The mis-diagnosis was tragic at this Urgent Care. We were fortunate that our doctors back home were at the ready to help us from a distance.

I called ahead, just for a question first, but didn't have to give name or info before going in.
