My experience there was not good. the seafood department the fish looks bad dry looking and old and out of date. The employees are know we’re to be found. Expired food on the shelf. Not the stop&shop I would want to go to again.

I know inflation is not helping any businesses and in order to keep the lights on, prices have to go up but to see what we paid for the groceries we bought today is absurd. To come home with 20-30 items and pay close to $200 yet when we go to Market Basket, we can buy double that amount if not more for the same price. Wish you guys the best but with how empty your store has been in the past few months, this maybe part of the problem.

Start every Sunday there. Always clean, stocked and the people are helpful. Guy at the fish counter & woman at the self checkout most Sunday morning have gone over and above more than once to help me.

I’ve been going to this stop and shop for 11 years, since I’ve lived in Walpole since 2010. Their produce has always been very poor compared to other places, but I’ve kept going simply for the convenience of location. A week ago I bought their SnS brand Brussel sprouts and was horrified to find little worms in nearly half of them. Threw them away. Went back a few days later to try buying them again. Figured it was just a bad batch and didn’t worry about it, since I don’t typically complain. But nope, same problem. Last straw for me, I’ll drive the extra 10 minutes to Big Y. Absolutely revolting, and I feel sorry for the people who ate these Brussels. (Expiration date on them, in both cases, was 5/21. So I’m sure they’re still in the store as I write this)

Yes they have redemption machines to the right of the main entrance. Keep in mind that the MASS Bottle Bill states retail stores are not obligated to take back any " empties" of product that the store does not sell full product of. the machines are programmed to accept the product by barcode. For example these machines WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY BEER EMPTIES. On the other hand, say you have PEPSI and the empty is rejected... you ar entitled to bring small quantities to customer service with your redemption slip and they are likely to pay the nickle direct. They will also be the ones to payout for your redemptions, just bring the slip to customer service. HAPPY REDEEMING!
Thanks! Nice to hear good things about the Walpole store.
We already have them
Will never happen
