They used to be really friendly, maybe because it's a Sunday and they were understaffed, that they were standoffish? Idk, there overpriced, but they're a mom and pop place so I support them. Not a big box company kinda guy. Support local businesses! They need us!!!!

Old style neighborhood hardware store with helpful and friendly staff. I enjoy the small local hardware stores that are virtually the same as hardware stores were when I was a kid and found them interesting and full of tools and plumbing parts and gardening supplies and wind chimes and hats and nails and power tools and knives gloves and all that kind of stuff. Millers is like that and the only place I know that still hand cuts glass panes to specification. Support your local hardware store when you can and save a piece of American culture.

I called ahead and told them what I needed. Got there later than I told them I would and my stuff was still sitting there waiting on me. Once it was purchased the fella outside was SO STINKIN HELPFUL - a 10' step ladder isn't the easiest thing to strap down in a SUV but he made it work & was so funny while doing it! Muuuuuch better service than any other hardware store I've been to!
