My Mother needed help five days a week after a stroke, and had daily appointments for over a month. I could not support all that was needed. I was referred to Senior Helpers. They were excellent. The caregivers took her to appointments, helped with her meal prep, and saw that she was cared for when our family could not be there. The office staff was very helpful and flexible with the schedule when visitors came. Highly recommend.

I wanted to take a minute to let you know how much better my father has been doing since being released from the hospital for his diagnosis of diverticulosis. His caregiver has been preparing meals and assisting him in making better food choices and since he has not had another acute attack of the disease. I truly believe that Senior Helpers is making the quality of his life better. Too often are we quick to complain when something is wrong. Not often enough we praise the people and organizations that are doing something right. I have been in the health care field for more than 30 years and I know how challenging health care can be. It’s refreshing to take the time to share the praise for your organization.

We having been using Senior Helpers of Winter Park to provide FT aides for my elderly mother for 5 months. The professionalism, courtesy, care and friendliness of the aides has been exceptional. It truly takes a special person to handle the idiosyncrasies that old age brings and Senior Helpers has found such people. The organization has quickly found replacement caregivers when needed. Robin, as nurse leader, provided the excellent medical backup, expert advice and oversight that was needed. They have been more than patient with my parents, changed and cancelled start dates due to hospitalizations and COVID fears and stayed in touch the entire time to make sure they were doing well, even before beginning work for them.
