In my opinion. In terms of spring water, l would suggest this spring is tanted and should be tested. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the spring across from the automobile museum and the one on fish house rd. Heck even the sketchy one on murry rd. In middle Grove has better water than this one. I was hoping for a new closer source, but this one taste funny Yo USGS can you please test this water quality?

I catch water here at least once a week, it is the best water I've ever tasted. I go in all seasons and the area is always maintained and wheelchair accessible. Best times to avoid crowds is at sunrise and sunset any day of the week.

Troy Public Utilities (518) 237-0241, Chris Whalen Dept. of Water and Sewer supervisor (518) 237-0193, Troy Mayor's office (518) 279-7130, "Chuck" (maybe a dept. head?) (518) 279-7161. As of 08/14/20, I have tried all these #s and, while the folks were pleasant enough, every one that I spoke to feigned innocence as to the future of this invaluable resource and who exactly has jurisdiction over it. Over all, a fruitless endeavor. Anyone out there is welcome to pursue the matter further.

I would like to get a message to whoever is responsible for maintenance at the spring. One of the spigots has stopped working completely, the leaves have never been raked and the trash cans are overflowing.

Bring a rake...help out. It is a gift to Troy. Everyone needs to participate not complain.
