Wow what a amazing place. My wife was diagnosed with cervical cancer 7 weeks ago so she had to do radiation every weekday and Chemotherapy one a week for 6 weeks. This place is Awesome. It don't matter who you are your treated like royalty. From Doctor Shaw and his staff to to radiation techs to all the nurses. To the singing nurse on the chemo floor. And everyone who we encounter there. Thank you! My wife got to ring the bell today as this was the last day of Chemotherapy. It was a long drive for us everyday from Palmbay to Orlando and back but it was well worth it and i wouldn't change a thing. She responded better than expected and it all due to the wonder care and treatment we received

I do not recommend this Rheumatologist. I used this practice for several years before deciding I couldn’t any longer put up with the staff, inconvenience and apparent lack of care about my health. This is basically a “Mom and Pop” operation that is dominated by a rude and dismissive receptionist/billing clerk named Mimi. The practice consists of the physician, the physician’s wife and Mimi whom is possibly the sister of the wife. Mimi is dismissive and rude to patients and barely acknowledges you upon entrance. She can be arbitrary and argumentative about payment and insurance coverages. The physician seems to not have a clue about his receptionist behavior. The practice does not take credit cards, period. This includes Health Savings Account (HSA) cards; it’s cash or checks only. When I switched to Medicare Advantage insurance, I had to pay before I saw the physician. You can tell by Mimi’s attitude, that Medicare is not welcome insurance. The office is difficult to reach, it is located in the second of the towers of Florida Hospital (Advent Health) on Orange Avenue. Parking is very inconvenient. Once you find a spot to park (many times on top floor), you have to take elevator to bottom, walk to Tower 2 and then take that elevator to office. Don’t forget to ask for a Parking Pass, because Mimi will not offer it. The physician is basically a prescription writer and blood test orderer. Meaningful conversation is minimal. When my RA was in remission, he insisted I continue to take medication. In my opinion, these people really could care less about your health and are just in business to make money.

The Infusion Center at this location doesn't even deserve one star. Horrible care, and rude and arrogant staffs. I was treated badly. Horrible experience and care. I had appointment today , they made me wait almost 2 hours in the packing lot. If it wasn't for my doctor I would not continue treatment with this hospital. I would not recommend the Infusion Center at this location.

I don't have cancer. I have a blood disorder that can indicate if I'm getting closer to leukemia. I have been seen in this office for many years. I've always been seen close to my appointment time and treated with kindness, concern and compassion as well as skilled care. I've had nothing but positive experiences with all the employees - from the front desk, nurses, lab techs and Dr. Alemany and his nurse practioner.

AdventHealth Medical Group Oncology & Hematology at Orlando
In Texas? They are strong provided the patient is able to travel frequently. AdventHealth has a very good neuro oncology department.
Yes, the ER is on the same grounds as the Cancer center
