I have been to many VA clinics and worked for over 12 years with the VA. My care has been wonderful here. I heard employees laughing and joking with each other. There isn't much to laugh about working at the VA, it was so nice to heard laughter. It's a seed to happiness. Please support laughter π π among employers it's infection.

My stepdad has been in here for the last few years. I think the nurses, doctors and staff are awesome. The most annoying thing is the constant change on covid Restrictions. One day you can walk right in no problem. Next day you can't even get in To see your loved one. Following day you have to take a covid test to get in. Next day you can walk right in. It gets the point of ridiculousness. I don't necessarily blame the VA. I blame the higher power In charge Making stupid decisions.

I personally have never been a patient here. However, my significant other is a Purple Heart veteran and he is a patient here. The lack of compassion and urgency this place has is outrageous. He has to call at least 4 times before anyone answers the phone. And we went to the ER about 5 months ago and they wouldnβt let me in, but they did let another person in with their family member. Whatever. It is what it is. However, he was in there for 6 hours and he decided to leave because it was 1am and they still hadn't found an answer as to what was wrong. And the final straw, he had an appointment to check his current leg a couple months ago. The doctor said his bone was wearing down a little from this leg not fitting properly anymore, normal. The Doc said he would rush the order due to the bone. It has been 2 MONTHS and still no new leg parts. Iβm so let down by this place and sad for the veterans that are forced to go here. Hopefully something changes because the experience my boyfriend has had for the last 5 years heβs lived here has been awful. These people need to step up their game. THESE ARE OUR VETERANS!!!!

When I lived in Colorado the VA hospital there was about average, since I moved here to Florida and go to Bay Pines VA hospital it is much better. Iβve been treated with great respect at that hospital and I have an awesome primary care physician, Dr. Augustine. I really appreciate all they have done for me in the seven years Iβve been in Florida and the staff there is a class act

It depends, i hope you located a social worker to help you determine how you can best be helped. I hope you're doing better, and thank you for your service.
I work here at bay pines and no we are not taking non emergency patients
It depends on how bad a patient is a doctor could answer that for you
Cannot speak for hearing aids however, the VA does pay for a new pair of glasses about every two years or if your prescription has significantly changed. Expect to pay for extras like Transition yourself. All considered, you can't beat the price. As mentioned in earlier reviews, you do need to be enrolled in the VA's Health Care System.
The front desk in the main entrance will give you directions and give you map or escort you there
In bldg 100 go towards the ER and you'll find it!
Yes because of them being a Care giver, make sure they have their badge with them. This goes for any VA facility.
It's to the East Side. Once you drive-through the main gate follow the road And it will take you in front of the hospital keep driving And the cemetery is ahead.

Hi! If you're registered to receive VA care, you can come in and get swabbed, but it will take a few hours for the test results to come back.
I have no idea but I can do some inquiring and get back with you.
You can in a lot of cases have food brought in. My husband won't eat the food they fix so I cook and bring it in
Sorry...not sure.
Due to the recent surge in covid-19 cases, we are doing emergent and oncology related surgeries at this point. We are hoping to resume all services as soon as possible, hopefully our covid numbers start to come down.
Go to the ER and they can direct you...or if you have a primary care doctor call that clinic and they can possibly get you in the same day. The VA also has a triage nurse you can call.
Sorry, not sure. You would have to call them but I would guess they can help somehow.
There are signs as you go in but it is by the ER
15 minutes: that's the usual protocol for any appointment at the VA
Contact a social worker they will be happy to help
Go to the ER
Stop and answer questions. Use hand sanitizer. As of Thursday. Stay safe. π

The provider they use is exclusive and a relative of one of the administrators. You would have to bribe someone to get a share.
