Participating and leading projects for HOO has been an invaluable experience. As a volunteer and lead in projects, it has been humbling to see the needs around my community. Having the opportunity to lead projects for HOO has been one of the greatest leadership experiences I have ever had. This is a great organization that can connect you to the needs of our communities so you can have an impact.

Hands On Orlando has my heart! I love everything that HOO stands for and continues to bring the Orlando community. The volunteers and Project Leaders are all a great part of what makes Hands On Orlando a success.

Hands On Orlando is an amazing organization! They help people all over Orlando with their Hands On volunteering experiences. You can sign up for their projects directly from their website which makes the process of getting involved so much easier. All the projects that I have been on have been meaningful, fun, interactive experiences. I definitely recommend Hands On Orlando for anyone who is looking for a fantastic volunteering experience.

Hands On Orlando is a unique organization focused on helping volunteers participate in worthwhile and meaningful projects in the community. I love that I get to pick different projects to volunteer with and have the freedom to decide how often I volunteer!  Every project I have worked on has been very organized and I always receive regular communication from the managers and the project leaders. Great organization that advocates for it's volunteers!

Hey! I was wondering if a 13 year old (which would be accompanied by an adult) would still be able to volunteer at the animal shelter here and when it would be possible?

Hi Mak, That’s a great question I would recommend reaching out directly to the shelters. We do not currently have any animal shelter projects listed in our volunteer calendar. Here is the link to the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando: https://petallianceorlando.org/community-involvement/volunteer/ Also, here is the Orange County Animal Shelter link: http://www.ocnetpets.com/GetInvolved/Volunteer.aspx Please let us know if you have any other questions. -Kyle T.
