We were facing eviction while I was 6 months pregnant and they refused to help us. But God! HE opens doors no man can shut! Now my kids have their own room and by the Grace of God lack nothing. God is able! Stay encouraged!

Hello Charles, Thank you for reaching out. We have several services available to the community, most free to clients. For example, our Pearlman Emergency Food Pantry is free, you can just call to make an appointment. Some of our programs, like our Family Stabilization Program and RIDE program, are also free but you must apply first to see if you qualify. Lastly, our Counseling program does have a fee, but we accept Medicare, Medicaid, and almost all insurances, and we have a sliding scale available for those who do not have insurance or have an insurance we do not accept. Hope that helps!
You have to go there and talk to a councilor who can better help you with your problems
Call on Monday after 9:00am

Thank you for reaching out, Brenda. Unfortunately, we do not have a location in Tavares. The closest would be our location, JFS Orlando at 2100 Lee Road, Winter Park. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with. Have a nice day!
Hello, We have a new rental assistance program, JFS Orlando CARES. The program is open to qualifying Orange County residents and can provide up to two months of rental assistance. Funds will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. For all eligibility requirements and to apply, visit www.jfscares.smapply.io. Have a nice day!
Some times they help with that if they have funds or refer you to another agency or have you call 211
