Auto Approval is an amazing place to get a used car. My Elantra broke down on me after 3 years of having it and I was on the market for a replacement for 4 long months. I kept getting scammed from private sellers, other dealerships wanted an arm and a leg for a down payment… it really felt like I was never going to get a car until I stumbled upon Auto Approval! Very friendly, very honest and straight to the point, and they were able to help me with this beautiful 2010 Honda Civic the same day I went to speak with someone! Highly recommend them if you are on the market for a used car. My man is even planning on getting a car with them in the near future. Thank you again to everyone at Auto Approval for everything! P.S. if you’re a responsible adult and keep up on your payments, there won’t be any issues.. it’s very simple.

I want to start out by saying these guys are GREAT!! I have bought two cars from them & have both of them still and never had ANY issues with them. The customer service is on point, Jenny has helped in any n every possible to make sure our experience was a good one, after all we went thru trying to get into a reliable vehicle without offering up our limbs and/or first born. We are grateful & appreciate everything. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle 😎

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALER. Juan is deceptive and tries to prey on vulnerable people who thinks are ignorant and unable to fight for their rights. Here are the facts: On April 19, I purchased (through in-house financing) a 2009 Infiniti FX35. I noticed a service engine light on and inquired Juan the salesman about it. He assured me that it was only on because the oil had been changed and they were struggling to reset it. He then invited me back to the office promising that the light would be resolved, "let's finish the paperwork." So, I trusted him and proceeded. To my shock, the light remained on, and he blew me off saying "google it and try to reset it yourself." So instead, I took it the next day to the Tire Plus in my neighborhood to have the oil checked and the light reset. To my shock, the technician informed me that the light had nothing to do with the oil and must be an issue else was in the car. By this time, on April 20 I am beginning to smell an overwhelming toxic smell coming from the exhaust pipes. Now, I am too scared to drive the car for fear of getting sick or worse. So, I schedule a diagnostic check at Infiniti Tampa to get an independent evaluation of the car. This appointment was scheduled for April 25 @ 7:30 am. I then park the car and do not drive it until the scheduled appointment. On April 25, I back out and observe a lot of white smoke and a stronger smell coming from the exhaust pipe. I am hoping and praying that it makes it but just 2 miles down the road the smoke seems to get worse especially when stopped. So instead of Infiniti Tampa, I take the car to Christian Brothers Automotive in Riverview. They assess the car and inform me that the car is missing both catalytic convertors as well a total of nearly $7k in car work needed. I immediately Uber over to Auto Approval and wait to speak to Juan regarding it all. Juan acts shocked and verbally states that the car should have catalytic convertors and he’d spent $400+ to have it serviced before I bought it allegedly. Juan then informs me to drive the car over there and I decline due to health concerns with the smoke. He agrees to tow the vehicle, and have it inspected because he in front of a witness, swears he just had that part of the car serviced and they had catalytic convertors. On 4/25 the vehicle was picked up from Christian Brothers Automotive in Riverview. So, I provided the address of the car and wait for a follow-up call. By the afternoon of 4/26, I heard nothing, so I called. After several attempts, I was connected to Hector over service who informs me that I would need to spend $1500 to fix a car that was sold to me without the parts. I followed up with Juan who shared that the previous two owners had removed the catalytic convertors and straight piped the car (which is the fourth story/deception regarding this vehicle. He then blew me off and refused to allow me to get another car or refund me the deposit. I’ve emailed the owner William Michael Chen based on the Sunbiz records, no response. Now, I am working to legal recover and prayerfully help prevent Juan from ripping anyone else off.
