It's a beautiful place. There's no Play ground for children Park With lot's of picnic table an volleyball 🏐 that's it. Restroom are good have to Walk a great distance to dumpster and Park. Cleaning Staff are Great.

This county park is AWESOME! Wide open, very clean, WELL MAINTAINED, and plenty of activities: canoe rentals, walking trails, plenty of pavilions, lake with three boat launch lanes with 4 NICE floating docks, 40-ish camping sites, and THE BESTEST is the trails (mountains) through the trees that you can walk or mountain bike through. When I say through the trees, you literally can walk/climb through the roots of these GINORMOUS trees where the rain has washed all the dirt out from under them.

Yes just be sure to clean up after and keep on leash. I have a pretty big dog and they had no problems with us having her. I love this park and the people there...so friendly!
You either call them & set it up or they will lead you through the process or go there & they will take care of you, you get water & electricity,bath houses,you can even tent camp or they have spots for big class A RVs

You need to reserve on line at the Florida Parks website. It will show you lots available for which dates. You can call the park for availability, but they can't reserve or hold for you. It's first come first serve if you do it this way.

Yes boating is allowed, I don't believe there are any restrictions on boat size, you should check there website
No castnets. All types of fresh water fish. Large mouth and hybrid bass. Use live bait. Artificial isnt very successful.
You might have missed it because there is! In fact it has a nice private shower as well. I used it once because I had both kids with me and the room was huge and it had a bench.
Yes, you basically need a fishing license to fish anywhere in the state of Florida. The only exception is some saltwater piers and boats have a license that covers everyone fishing (which Medard does not have).
