I called this place and asked how much it would cost to do an inspection and resurface my car's cylinder head, they asked me for some pictures and told me it would cost around $140. I drove for 45 minutes to get there, when I arrived an employee called the owner and he said the service would cost 600 dollars. I could buy a new part for that price. Don't waste your time taking your car in this place .. The employee also said that they were an expensive place. I ended up taking it to another place that charged me half the amount that this place charged me.. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!

I paid them to install new parts complete timing chain and gear set guides etc, oil pump and water pump. After I've had trouble again with my truck tearing it apart find out the new parts I paid for was never put in very discouraging and sad that someone would take you like this. The date on the parts show that they were never changed ... 1. This will be a final reply to correct a few things that was wrongly taken by the owner. I did not say it was the owner's fault. Although It did take place in his garage . 2. I have my receipt showing before moved to a different location the work was preformed. My truck heads was being resurfaced due to overheating while it was apart I paid to have a complete timing chain set installed along with the oil pump. After some time later my truck jumped timing when a shop went in the they found out it was the original parts by the date on the parts. I am counting this as a loss. I do not give bad reviews I give honest reviews. I could post my receipt showing everything I'm saying but I'm not going to do that. I'm not going back and forth I do not want to waste any more of my time. I am honest I have my receipt and it shows I did not get what I paid for? This will be the end of the story

Nick at Engine Lab kept in contact with me so that I knew when to expect with my repair to my Jeep. He explained what the problem appeared to be and promise to keep me updated throughout my repair. He was absolute professional and competent! He repaired my Jeep perfect. Thank you Nick for your great work. 10+ He was very courteous. Answered all my questions. Great mechanic, great person thank you, highly recommended! Will definitely reach out in future if i need help again.

I had the worse experience of my entire life thus far.. I said that I wouldn't write a review, but after what has happened, it would be wrong for me to not warn others... this shop is not well suited to fix anything out of the ORDINARY, I drive an AUDI S4 V8 B7 "somewhat of a special vehicle" I will not write the entire story as it would be half of a book, I will just say this, after paying over $5,000.00 I drove away with a leaking, car, that sustained water damage due to being left outside, the electrical system is now damaged due to the computer getting wet, not to mention, MANY things were not done properly and i'm still paying for them, example, the lining was placed over the ecu, "but the ecu was not screwed in" the cowl was left off as the car was placed outside and unlocked, water flooded the inside of the car, CHECK PHOTOS, the shop lost some of the supplies that I brought in $120 worth of oil, the car was there for almost 6 months, the owner does not take responsibility, I believe at one point it was a good shop, but the new owner is more interested in his own hobbies, did not want to fix what his shop was responsible for, I had faith and hope in the company but they just don't have the expertise "employee wise" to handle a real job, maybe in the future they will hire experienced employees, until then please avoid this shop for any MAJOR work, the ac system was also left unhooked, All of my Audi S4 rugs were left outside for months and were completely damaged, the rugs now smell "even though they shampooed them" my Convenience and Control Module is fried due to being wet .. the list goes on and on, I will be taking legal action on Engine Lab. I wish I didn't have to, but I did my best to work with the company. TRUE REVIEW....

Hello, we have done several LS swaps, but evaluate each project on an individual basis. What do you have?

Do this shop exist? I drove by and the building has no signage except for a hydraulics company. Sent them a message via FB messenger with no reply

Yes, we are here. The entrance is in rear of building Our building is an entire block wide and we are in the same building with the Hydraulics company. The city is giving us some grief on new signage in Ybor. We were there all day and several customers found us today. Our phone volume is severely overloaded with incoming calls and it kills our server, You can call me direct at 813.919.5995 if there is anything we can do to assist you...Cheers Rokket
