Took my Chevy spark for diagnostic, I was told have to paid around 100 bucks. Five hours later did a stop back at the shop because needed my car fixed asap and no body call me back to inform me what was the update. Well turned to be a motor damage one piston and have to replace or rebuild the engine. But what really bother me was, they continue making in "deep diagnosis" without any authorization and turn to be charged 375 dollars for a diagnostic. Very disappointing. I took to another mechanic to replace the engine.... You right Sr. This was one year ago and almost forget share my experience.

I brought my 2007 Prius to Mikes because they told me they worked on hybrids and I (mistakingly) believed them. Three days, a new regular 12v battery, and $600 later I was told my car would be fine with the exception of a few things regarding the cabin heating, which I wasn’t worried about since it’s about to be summer. However 5 minutes after I drove away from the shop every single check engine light vsc etc turned back on. It later broke down 10 minutes away from the shop on the same day i was told it was fixed. The most frustrating part for me is I was very pleased with Mikes attitude and how detailed he was about my car and it’s problems. However i realize I was most likely lied to (I was told all the lights turned off in my car with the exception of the check engine light) but they were definitely just reset before i got it. I feel as if I was overcharged and misled so they could make a quick buck off my car that’s one step into its grave. I am never one to write bad reviews, this is actually the first one i’ve ever written but after i explained to the mechanic that money is tight and then they still proceeded to rip me off, i decided i had to vent somewhere. Anyways would not recommend this mechanic, wish things worked out differently!

I've used Mike's at least three times & received quality service, competent, efficient work & fair prices every time. Owner operated & if I'm not mistaken 30 years here in Tampa so you know that integrity is part of their business plan. They actually went out of their way for me on my first visit there because I was stranded with my children. Good people.
