Perhaps the DRs are good but the system needs improvement. My Mom has been having health issues. She missed an appointment in March and rescheduled for the end of July. In June, she had to go in to replace lost glasses and purchased a pair that cost a few hundred dollars. Now, just a few weeks later she is being called as a reminder for her appointment in July. While I understand that this appointment was already on the books, I am not sure why she was able to purchase new glasses in June without an exam when the staff knew she didn’t make her original exam date in March and is now being asked to come in for an exam in July... Probably to receive a new lens script and will be told buy new glasses. Taking advantage of the elderly? Sounds dishonest, if we hadn’t stepped in, we would never have caught this. She would be shelling out several hundred dollars more for another pair of glasses only a few weeks later.

Hernando eye Institute is the greatest. The staff are professional and respectful. Dr. Cacioppo is by far The best I've ever had. I highly recommend him and his staff. You will be extremely haply and satisfied.

The staff and Doctors at Hernando Eye Institute are professional, friendly and very knowledgeable in their field.
