My son and I just stayed this week. It was wonderful! Cabin had great stock of kitchen items for cooking and was clean! Staff was excellent. It was quite with great views. Outside grill and fire pit. Thank you and I will rent again Sandra Wilt from Cedaredge!

My husband and I spent 14 days at Blue Mesa Outpost the 1st of June until the 15th, 2022. All the good things you have heard about Kelly and Steve are so true. We are in our 70's and we still like to fish but sometimes we need help and like to feel safe. Kelly and Steve were the best caring managers we have ever had. But the best 'jewel' I found was the tap water! Blue Mesa is on well water. Especially for us older folks good, clean, cool water was great. Made the best ice tea!!

I stayed there for two weeks in August 2021. The campground was clean and quiet, the utilities worked perfectly and the owners were extremely friendly. It’s a small campground so there isn’t a lot of traffic to deal with. After 8pm I would have thought I was the only one there, it was THAT quiet at night. It’s a 30 second drive to the lake and the views of the lake were great. They’re very dog friendly as well. I highly recommend this campground for anyone who is looking to stay in the area!

We stayed here for a weekend trip with friends. The view from our cabin was awesome, and the cabin itself was nice. The cabin was totally furnished with one exception, no air conditioning. The need for air conditioning was not an issue during our stay. I would like to single out the Office Manager, Kelly, who treated us with the utmost respect. The check-in and check-out process was flawless. The cost is very reasonable for the ammenties you receive during your stay. My only disappointment was an altercation that occurred between a couple from our group, and the male owner of the campsite. The couple made a mistake and was angrily confronted by the owner. They were told to leave immediately, and this put a damper on our otherwise great trip. The owner needs anger management counseling and I hope he gets it. I am sure deep down he is a great person and works hard to make everyone's stay an enjoyable one. It is a great location for a weekend getaway.
