We found this place on our way to Ouray. Women's restrooms were nice! Hostess was super friendly and accommodating! Loved the riverside site!

we called three months ahead of time to make sure they accepted rooftop tent trailers and in that call I mentioned that we would have a tent, plus I wanted to reserve the spot next to it for my brother in-laws rv, the lady on the phone said that was fine and just to book it on line so I did. We showed up and set up the rooftop trailer and the tent on the ground next to it, not 10 mins went by and the lady running the park showed up and said we can't put a tent on the ground in the rv spots? we chatted a bit and she said we could set up a tent in the tent area about 20 feet away. I asked how much it was and she said $40 and I was fine with that but she said not to worry about it. Well I should have worried because the next afternoon she came over and said we had to remove the tent because someone had booked the whole area for the weekend and they had zero open places for the tent so we ended up leaving early, but not before we witnessed them kicking out another family because they double booked a spot. On top of that the bathrooms were not clean(dead bugs and other nasty stuff) and both the women's and men's ran out of toilet paper too. The trash cans that were placed thru out the park were also not great (if your from the mountains you'll understand) they had holes on the lids and the first night we arrived they were over flowing and it took until the next afternoon for them to be emptied. either way I don't think this place deserves 3.9 stars its more 2-2.5 at best.

Stayed for the night traveling. Hostess was awesome!! Spots are nice! Next time I'll have to take time to enjoy the ponds and fishing!

Had a wonderful time at this campground! River sites are so well spaced, their campground bathroom is so so cute and clean and safe, and the hosts were kind. Love this place and will be back! One of the top places I have stayed for sure!
