Was so excited to be in the position to buy a Palm Harbor home after I had toured and admired their homes for years. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE. We are truck drivers and tried to do most of picking the home we wanted while we were out on the road. After getting no progress made from our salesman we drove 3 hours one way while we were on hometime to face to face with him and hopefully get a home ordered and financing started. Our salesperson happened to not be there so we complained to the manager after looking at the actual homes we decided on a different style since nothing had been done on the first pick. We told them to completely replicate what was on site. The manager told us ok i will have your salesperson get you the contract worked out and sent over to you tomorrow. Long story short salesperson waited over a week and when he finally sent the contract it was $20k more than it was when we told them we wanted it. After a long heated discussion with the manager he finally agreed to original price. When the contract was sent to the GM he said no if they want that house they are gonna pay the extra 20k. I tried endlessly to reason with him but to no avail they were more interested in looking shady than doing the right thing as we were and still are convinced they knew the house price was going to go up so they waited to send the contract. So disappointed. Before buying from this office i would definitely make sure you are in a position to be able to be in their face constantly or you will get nothing accomplished

Bought my home in 2011 & it’s been a good, solid home. It withstood Hurricane Irma. I’m looking now for a possible second home. All property must be cared for & I’ve maintained it well.

We purchased our home in January of 2021 and were told that it would be done and we would be moved in by July. We finally moved into our house in the middle of November, after we moved in we noticed multiple issues with the walls and several other areas, after multiple phone calls and trips in person some of the issues were finally resolved. Tired of having to call every day multiple times we eventually just settled that what we got was the best they had to offer apparently. Here are just a FEW of the examples of what they called the “finished” product.

Max has been amazing from start to finish. Not only did he take his time to answer ALL of our questions. But he also gave us some amazing suggestions and helped us settle on something. Definitely by far the best consultant we have dealt with.

My name is Manolo Montañez and the work I do is paint houses and pressure wash houses. But I do have several contacts who are in charge of doing all kinds of house remodeling work.
No i do not
No, I was visiting as a potential customer.
My husband worked for the plant in Florida in Plant City, 15 miles east of Tampa, for 29 years and retired from there in June 2015. He sai presently knowing what you have tried, to maybe call the closest dealer and/or factory builder to you and try to get answers or info from them. Also check any mobile home and trailer speciality places. Good luck and hope this helps.
Good question I left messages before no one answers phone or email
I've been thinking about visiting their site and factory 🏭...what type of issues did you have with them ? Because I'm about to sell my house and buy from them, is my plan.
I believe we are.
we build houses in plant city but they can be brought where you like.
I believe so! Give them a call and they will direct you to the right person.
Yes
Yes
Lee Miller was the plant manager when my husband worked there. You'll probably need to talk with him if you have a question. Don't know if Larry Keener is still there or not but he's another one you might want to call.
I don't know off the top of my head. Sorry.
Just to show the houses Not to work
They do
It's better if you find the property. All the permits and fees and things are included with the house.
Yes your best bet is to go through an employee I'm currently a worker there in the warehouse building the homes because then you get it for 10% above wholesale price
Look in closet in master
I can't see that being a problem at all. I'm sure they can help with everything that you would need.
Look for the data plate, it should be under the kitchen sink or the master bedroom closet
Measure it or get specs from Palm harbor. I'm sure they know where to get one and someone to put it in...
Please call the sales office.
Yes, you have to apply.
