My husband has been here in the skilled nursing areas for seven months. He has been here for the change from non-profit to profit and as feared there has been a slow decline in quality here. The staff members are all wonderful and work hard to take the best care possible. My husband was on the Covid Unit for ten days and the staff was amazing...However, they have taken away the availability of him to choose his meal selections. Meals being one of the few things he has to look forward to. He receives whatever the kitchen decides today I guess. For lunch today, he got a small serving of beef and gravy, four strawberry halves, a roll and milk. For dinner last night a fruit and cheese plate (which he loves) and crackers and a carton of milk. the paper accompanying said there was ice cream . No where to be found. It is a waste to serve him things he does not like. The quality of items used in his daily care has gone downhill. the ability of the Aids to help in a timely manner has disappeared. Waiting on the toilet for 20 minutes after ringing the bell seems unacceptable. The therapy staff is wonderful and tries their best to make things work

My aunt was there in the 90s. My husband was there last year for rehab. I've always thought it was a pretty good place but I am saddened to hear it's been sold. That's never good. I hope the care the patients get doesn't go downhill. I don't think any other group could handle this property or medical issues as well as Maria Manor has done all these many years. It is a staple and landmark here in St. Pete. I am broken hearted that you sold it and I'll never recommend it to anyone again.

I have had my Mama there so nice April 2017. I brought her from her hometown Valdosta Georgia to be closer to me. Best thing I ever did. The staff are the BEST!!! They treat my mama as if it was their mama. I’m so happy she’s there as I referred several people there as well. I love my mamas amazing home. ♥️🌹♥️

My mother passed on Christmas Eve. Before I could get there to retrieve her belongings, they were thrown away. This wanton disregard for personal property broke my family's heart. One-of-a-kind items (photos of her and her parents) that were the last tangible links gone - even though there were specific instructions to hold them for us.
