You'd think after being sent there 6 times they'd do something right. The doctors were condescending and couldn't even speak proper English. Best go there to check the place out before buying your recruiters lies.

I haven't been here before, I'm only 15 but in 1 year and some months I will go to this meps since I live in Tampa and for the people saying they're unprofessional and rude, look, their job is to disqualify you. Your recruiter job is to get you in. I'm joining the Marine Corps and I'm going to this MEPS. See you in 1 year and a couple months.

Everyone was cool, professional, and fast except for the one doctor who told me not to smile when he talked to me. The way he said it was very unprofessional. It is just normal courtesy in this country and I'm not in the army yet bud. Nor am I going to be told how to look until I join. I did good on my asvabs but I already have a good job so I don't need the army. I was in between joining and that just settled it for me.

Yes, all branches process applicants for military service through the MEPS. Individuals desiring to enter the military must start by contacting a recruiter for the service in which they are interested in serving. There recruiter will schedule an appointment at MEPS once all preliminary paperwork is completed.
