This pharmacy has an excellent compounding lab! I have a 19 year old Seal Point cat and for about 3 years, I am having her compounded Rx filled at Davis Islands Pharmacy & Compounding Lab. They are very accurate, reliable, and dependable for filling her prescriptions in a timely manner. Great customer service and products!

Terrible experience so far. I have a bad memory, and because of this, I requested that Davis Islands Pharmacy assist me by calling my doctor's office and coordinating my prescription refills. They assured me they can and would this. They told me they have a special program for this. The pharmacist himself promised me he would personally take care of it. Indeed, on their website, it states: "Davis Islands Pharmacy and our knowledgeable staff offers a number of tools and strategies to help you better manage your medications. There are two aspects to medication management: ensuring you fill your prescriptions on a timely basis and making sure you’re taking them properly. In many cases, we work with prescribers and insurance companies to help coordinate refills and other aspects of your treatment to ensure you’re getting the highest therapeutic benefit medicine can provide." Again to repeat; it literally states " In many cases, we work with prescribers and insurance companies to help coordinate refills." However, repeatedly they have failed to call my doctor and coordinate refills. I have appointments with my doctor every three months, and they should be calling monthly to get my 30-day medications refilled. They promised me they would do that, but they have forgotten. I have tried to work with them since May 2020, and since June 2020 regarding these prescriptions. I called them again today, because today is the day of my doctor visit. The last time Davis Islands Pharmacy filled my prescriptions renewed was three months ago. While a couple of my prescriptions are 90-day prescriptions, several are 30-day prescriptions which did not get filled due to this pharmacy's lack of attentiveness. So while their motto may be "we care," I personally have yet to witness this. They also didn't bother to call me to notify me if anything was wrong or to ask any questions if they had any about my prescriptions. If you are relying on the program that I quoted, I cannot recommend this pharmacy as they are not reliable. I hope that in my future dealings with them they will change my mind on this point.

Always have a very positive, pleasant experience. Everyone has always been extremely helpful. Perry always greets me by name, asks how I am. Recently I had surgery and was unable to go get my refills and they were mailed to me. Truly EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

This is hands down a five star pharmacy!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love the staff here who makes you feel like family. The first time I came in, they treated me as if they knew me for years.
