I have been blessed to have visited all 50 states and many countries. Also have lived in Carrollwood for 35 years. HCSO is by far the best Sheriff department in the country. I am so proud of how professional, dedicated and caring you all are. I had to file a missing person report a few days ago for a missing roommate the two officers were so thorough in their questions and responses. It was very impressive. Needless to say they got in contact with our roommate and asked her to call us. She never did. However they did everything they could possibly do to put her in contact with us. I have no words to describe how protected our family and I have felt during our 35 years living in North Tampa. God bless you 🙏 and thank you for everything that you do everyday to keep us safe. 🙏

I contacted the Sheriff after what I thought was a gun shot. Two hours later I had a knock on the door. There was a deputy saying they responded and didn't see anything. the fact that they followed up was a little like Mayberry. Thanks for your extra efforts.

This district is a joke I called to complain about a person parking an 18 wheel tractor-trailer in a residential area which is supposed to be illegal as well as a family living in a camper on the side of a house also illegal and they didn't even respond. I guess I should have said Free Donuts...

Wow I can not believe how rude the officer who takes the phone call was to me tonight. A female officer even hung up on me. Mathewson i believe she said her name was. I called with zero attitude and within 10 seconds she was telling me DO NOT COME TO THIS OFFICE! I simply wanted to leave a written request for a officer who is not on the schedule for tonight. They work nights and it's hard to meet them on there schedule as I have my own job to do. I am not trying to get the officer I need to talk to in trouble as hes done nothing wrong. Just needed clarification on paperwork. Seriously concerned about how she behaved tonight. She really shouldn't be dealing with the public. When did the relationship between citizens and police turn so sour?

Just meet up in front of the sheriffs office or any surveillanced public place such as a gas station like Wawa, that’s what I do
Have you called animal control and see if they can address the issue with homeowner? Also is it out of the ordinary, meaning all throughout the night or during the day hours? It's a difficult to prove a disturbance, unless it can be proven out of the ordinary.. there are several things LEO and animal control need to factor in the situation. HOA should have addressed issue to homeowner, as they can civilly handle the problem, unless they refuse to follow there bi-laws.... But that's if it is written in their rules. Hope this helps
