Such a great experience with the entire Family Planning Department & Agnus in scheduling. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful throughout the whole process, they had me in and out in no time.. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of at this facility. Dr. Fara and her NP work extremely well together and took great care of me!! Thank you ladies!!!

I took my son to the Florida Health Department in Sanford today and was treated with five star service! I am new to the area and have been having difficulties getting my son’s immunizations up to date. All the doctors are either booked, busy or just not available. I got an appointment with the Health Department where I was immediately greeted when I walked in. I looked lost so a nice friendly lady at the front desk helped (really wish I got her name) there were two of them actually! I wasn’t directed but walked to the area where I needed to be. Veronica helped me from there and was so friendly. I was all over the place, gave her the wrong information and she was so patient and kind! Miss Debra administered my son’s shots. My son is terrified of needles and he definitely gave her a hard time! She made it a lot of fun and I would definitely go back to this location and this location only! A little goes a long way but they went above and beyond to provide five start service.

Yes, they accept walk ins. Just know that there will be a wait. They work on a sliding scale, so if you are working bring in 4 pay stubs or if you are receiving financial assistance bring that. I hope that this information was helpful.
Do they do tooth extractions?
No, been you can get help from various organizations in Seminole. Christian Sharing Center can give you a list. United Way can help as well. There 8s a very long list of requests for rental assistance so be prepared
They have a nephrologist
You do not need to have insurance for COVID testing. It is free!
Yes. You can get a certified copy of it. Its the vital statistics dept in the county health department building
The SPCA in Sanford for cats If suspect abuse or neglect. If Elder abuse is suspected the health department can inform you. I urge you to use caution on who you report to these offices because the people you report will be investigated. And especially in the case of the elderly person, it's up to family, friends, and nice neighbors (I hope) to help out. It can be frightening and confusing for the old because they don't quite understand what is happening sometimes. Hospice is a true Godsend for people in the final stages of disease. I would urge you to speak with a friend or family member of the patient. I work with the elderly and I hope this has been helpful to you. I think you must be a kind person or you wouldn't have had these questions.
Your Id and insurance
I am needing to get a copy of my sons adoption papers how do I get that .
Yes they have plans now. They also have medical insurance now as well
You should be able to get a copy of your birth certificate there. As for a copy of your license, that would be at the DMV and the local social security office is where you can get a copy of your social security card. Hope that helps.
Hi Kimmie, the DOH-Seminole does immunizations for adults. The cost would depend on your son's situation. I would recommend that he either call or stop by to schedule an appointment. At that time, he would also be able to speak with someone in the clinic about his physical.
