The amount of unsolicited junk mail I get from this organization is unbelievable. I have no relationship with them and I've never donated, yet they send me requests for donations approximately once per month. Save your money and stop stuffing mailboxes with your solicitations.

For the second time in as many months, I have contacted the Salvation Army to make a donation. The first one was an entire family room of furniture ... a leather couch and matching loveseat, two ends tables and a coffee table. The loveseat had a small repair, so they would not take it. The couch had dust under the cushions, so they didn't take that. One end table had small scratches, so they didn't take either one. Yes, they took the coffee table. Today I scheduled a pick up for a dining room table with a leaf, and six chairs. It was all in great condition except for the bottom part of the table where the legs had been run into with a vacuum over the years. They refused to take the table, and without a table, they refused to take the chairs! Unbelievable. So much for trying to be a good person and help those in need. I was told by the pick-up team that if they take anything that the Salvation Army can't sell, and they do this three times, they are written up and fired. I was under the mistaken impression that the Salvation Army GAVE items to those in need. Needless to say, I will be contacting my church or other organizations that actually provide for those in need with items that may help them. It has been fine for my family, why can't it be fine for another??

I don't know; pls give them a call because I'm sure they'll have ideas. Or try the Rescue Mission on 13th Street; they have helped friends of mine. Good luck and stay dry & warm.

The better will be if you connect direct with them. They help a lot but every person have different problems and circumstances. It's like a church based community assistance. Help me and my family with food, counseling, utilities and toys for my toddlers. DON'T LOSE TIME and ask for help.
Yes, but call to see what forms of I.D you need to bring. Number is 407 322 2642
Have you tried Meals on Wheels yet? If they can't supply the Christmas ham, they might know who can! Wishing you a blessed season, feel better 🎄 (407) 333-8877
