Came across this place one day on my travels. Was mid day on a Wednesday. No one around but myself and my friend. We found it very peaceful. Read the prayer, signed the book and lit a candle. Would of never went out of my way to go there but turned out to be a nice visit.

I went to pray. And left a donation. The woman who runs the gift shop was so pushy it seemed more a flea market. Not what I expected at a Church.

I love the shrine, yet the elderly lady who operates this shrine, claiming to be the founder is very pushy and rude. She wanted me to buy an all brown statue of Padre Pio that wasn't worth the $200 she wanted for it. When I said that I wasn't interested in buying it, she tried pressuring me to buy something else. She then said that I shouldn't come back if I don't want to contribute. This lady is very unethical. Not a nice person. She says that she is building a chapel near the shrine and wants donations for it. I found out she is getting a lot of money on a daily basis from people dropping off donations for the chapel, but some people say that it's a lie and just a way to take your money, and no chapel is actually going to be built there.
A & A VLOGS
When anyone need to experience a little piece of heaven on earth come and visit the Ahrine of Padre Pio.

We aren't worshiping the statue. We are showing respect to a person who was very dedicated to God. Padre Pio is represented by the statue and respect is shown to him by way of his representation (much like one places flowers at the portrait of a person at their memorial service). But he - nor his statue - is in any way worshipped.
There are no daily masses at the shrine, on Wednesdays the pray the rosary and have the relics present. Sometimes there is a priest and he has confession.
Yes they have candles right behind the Padre Pio statue with the prayer bench at it. They are battery operated but there is also a book back there you can write prayers in and a lil store in the barn by the back of the parking lot. The store is all volunteer operater, so hours vary. I find best luck for store to be open around 11am honslestly.
I don't believe mass is celebrated at the Shrine There is a Padre Pio Church in Vineland. Check their website or call the parish office.
