I wish I could give this facility no stars! The aides are hard working and are overwhelmed, the food is horrible! My mother was sent there after surgery for a broken hip. One nurse came in on the weekend with blood in 3 different areas on his shirt, no gloves, no use of hand sanitizer and administered eyes and medication to my mother. My 89 year old mother was in the isolation wing for Covid even though she didn’t have Covid. After repeated requests for her to be moved she got Covid! I got her out of there! They also had her change from her Medicare Advantage policy to Medicare so they could try to keep her another 30 days! Office people are just as bad.

My dad was brought there after he had his leg amputated he already had a couple of things wrong with him but they gave him lots of infections one of which was in his stump that they had to scrape from the inside out because they did not send him to the doctor when he had orders to go they knew he got pnemonia there and they kept him from his inhaler and he ended up in respiratory failure due to the things they did to him he is intebated until Thurs and he might not be able to breathe on his own now and if that's the case he is going to die. We wrote complaints and no one did anything to help. My dad begged me not to complain because they treat him terrible when that happens. This is illegal and it happens everyday. These people may have killed my dad. He was lucid one day and then he started talking crazy due to the infections then this. They need to be stopped and no one should ever send their loved one here.please pray my dad improves.

I transferred here as 30 days ago as a COVID patient. I have recently tested negative and have been moved out of the COVID unit. So far, so good. I have been in a number of nursing homes (a dozen or so) in my 15 years as a paraplegic. I have experienced a vast range of quality of care, ranging from the abysmal (Coquina Key, Laurelwood) to adequate. This is the first place I would deem exceptional. The food is the best I've had in a nursing home and an aid takes your meal orders daily and they are generous with snacks, something I've never experienced. Also unprecedented are weekly visits from an MD; in my experience I was lucky to see a PA once a month. I am receiving a solid hour of physical therapy daily in the well equipped gym. The physical plant is clean, fairly quiet, well maintained, and (mercifully) free of the foul odors that often plague these places. The staff is caring, competent, and pleasant; this is not always the case in other nursing homes. They really care about my rights as a patient, my access to my medical records, and treat me with dignity. I unhesitatingly recommend this place; it is, by a substantial margin, the best managed nursing home I've been in, and I've been in enough to have a good idea of what the standards are in the area.

Such an amazing facility! I've visited many of my friends in pretty much all of these places in this area and Madison Pointe is truly a diamond in the rough! Clean and well maintained and such a friendly and helpful staff. My friend LOVES it!
