Go Store It Self Storage

We have a college student attending UNC at Asheville and we had such a wonderful experience this summer with Go Store It. Instead of turning my living room into a dorm storage area we were able to put all of my college students belongings in storage. They spent the last days of the semester cramming for finals but they were able to pack all of their things up and get them into the storage unit a few weeks before the semester ended so it was really seamless. Some of their friends had to spend those last days packing and cramming! We look forward to allowing them to slowly unpack as they arrive back in the fall and we’re very happy with the entire experience. Would have loved it if they prorated the monthly rent but it wouldn’t stop me from booking with them again!

Go Store It has been great since I moved my stuff in 3 months ago. But they raised the rent in my unit by $20/month and I suspect it's a method to get people in and then make more money. I understand raising the rent after a year or so, but 3 months? Very disappointed and feeling trapped. I advise you don't take the starting rate with any guarantees that it will last more than a few months and shop around to other storage unit companies that guarantee the rate for longer. An update and in response to Go Store It's reply: I did contact you all and have tried numerous times by phone, email and your customer service line to talk about this rate increase. No one has gotten back to me after 3 weeks. Still upsetting.

When there is so much competition these days, what stands out from the rest and most important to me is customer service. Moving is stressful in itself but when I found Go Store It combined with the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE from Beth it made my experience so much easier and less stressful. The facility is clean, great location, great pricing but their best quality and five stars goes to the customer service I received from Beth who represents this company in an invaluable way. She genuinely listened to what I needed, made good suggestions I hadn't thought of and then made the whole process go so smoothly. Highly recommend Go Store It, Beth, Jeff and the entire staff.
