Karen did an amazing job on the cake and pastries for our wedding! I had a last minute change of plans about surprising my fiance with Italian Rainbow cookies and cannolis, but Karen was great about helping me give my new husband the perfect surprise. My husband and I ordered our small/cutting wedding cake from Karen Donatelli Bakery! It was SO delicious and simply beautiful. We got married early November and chose the Apple Cinnamon Spice cake with white buttercream icing. It was the perfect Fall cake. We also decided on the rustic ribbon icing look with greenery. Karen was very responsive and reasonably priced! I would highly recommend Karen Donatelli Bakery for your sweet treat for any event!

We practice safe Covid procedures, we require that everyone wear a mask, stay 6 feet distanced, and do not come in the bakery if you are not feeling well or have a fever. We currently are operating on special order pick up and delivery only. We no longer have a retail, café, or dine in at our new location. We are located at 1000 Hendersonville Road ~ South Asheville ~ 28803 for confirmed order pick up at appointed & scheduled time only. Thank you!
They cater events but do not deliver that I know of.
Hello Suzie! No, we do not take reservations, however I do have a lovely table that can seat about 5 to 6 and you are welcome to call in advance to reserve that table. I do have scheduled Bridal Tastings at that table, usually on Saturdays. Please call us, and if it is available for your date you are welcome to reserve it. Hello Jay, I usually only make these types (vegan, sugar-free) for wedding cakes. I do not receive a lot of requests, and therefore requires much advance notice and special shopping on my part. I can make gluten free cakes on a regular basis. Sincerely, -Karen
