My best friend got married here and it was absolutely beautiful. We have another wedding coming up next year here it was such a great experience. We’ve also come out numerous times and rented rooms in the hotel and cabins. The lake is great and the guest and staff are always friendly

This is such a peaceful and lovely place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room overlooked the lake and was spotlessly clean. The owner was very welcoming when she checked us in, and it made a great home base for us to explore Duluth and the surrounding parks. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Hanging Horn owners and staff are very accommodating and hospitable. The place is quiet, and clean. The water is hot for cleaning up. If you are looking for an remote location in the woods on a lake, this resort is it. To accommodate the remote location the owners have signs marking the way. I'll keep going back when, if I can.

Beautiful location! Great accommodations! Caring and considerate staff! What more could you ask for in a resort. My wife is from Minnesota, while I am a southern boy, but anytime we visit we choose to stay here. No matter the season. Beautiful in winter. Fantastic in summer. Romantic getaway or family vacation it's awesome no matter the occasion. Do yourself a favor and visit. You won't be disappointed!
