My wife and I really enjoyed this trip. Drove up from Alabama. Weather there was 96 heat index 103. Morning of trail ride at Bearwallow temp was 55. Great ride. We stayed on the green trails nothing serious but challenging. Rock house tomorrow. June 20 2022

The trails are very good rugged as you want and marked well. The attendant at the trailhead was really nice and helpful.

This is a fun trail system for Jeeps with many great areas to explore including old coal mines! The views are incredible and some of the shelf roads that hug the mountainside have big drop offs that get the heart pumping! Many different trail types for varying levels of difficulty. My only complaint would be the helmet requirement. It makes sense for some off road vehicles but I’ve never been on a trail system that required it for Jeeps.

My favorite Jeep trail so far! This is a fairly long trail with some of the most breath-taking sights. The trail is easy, it does have some exciting spots but mostly it’s just a wonderful Jeep stroll through the woods. Bonus: This a badge of honor trail for Jeepers.
