This was my first experience ax-throwing and it was fantastic! Our "ax master", Sean, took the time to explain the rules, teach us the technique, and guide us until we got the hang of it. He helped us set up games and stimulated friendly competition within my group -- we all had a blast! The entire staff we interacted with were a pleasure to work with and some of the most willing, helpful, and friendly people I've engaged with in this kind of a setting (in addition to Sean, I believe their names were Ben, Jerome, and Michelle). The facility and activities were great, but it was the employees that really made the experience exceptional. I can't speak for any of the other Bury The Hatchet locations, but I would highly recommend the one in Old Bridge/Matawan!

Michelle was fantastic as usual. Yet again she was on point with feedback, trick shots and games. Michelle helped our big group get comfortable with axe throwing and had all of us having a great time with ease. We will absolutely be back and we’ll have to bring more friends next time. Everyone should axe throw with Michelle!
