Very small venue...literally in the park. Great sound, very laid back great spot tlfor a concert.

We'd heard about The Libby Bowl, but never realized how cool the vibe is there ... until last night! It was the BEST place to hear live music and we're already planning out the concerts we want to see there next. It's such a magical place. It's small, but not too small. Love, Love, Love this place.

Wonderful venue. The concerts I've attended in this outdoor small amphitheater have had great acoustics. The space is open and accessible at all times when there's no event (check with the City of Ojai if interested in renting it. I've no idea about any of that). I've met with small groups for different social distancing things and it was perfect. I've seen mums with their little ones here too. Mums chat while tots play in relatively enclosed area (because it's slightly sunken). It's covered too so one could sit and have a picnic if the tables in Libbey park are taken. A very nice resource in this eclectic small town.

This is a unique venue. Very small so every seat is pretty much a good one, with a few exceptions: Forget paying more for the front section because people just walk down to the stage and dance, so you can NOT see anything from the first 10-15 rows unless you stand up the whole time. It's a fun atmosphere and if you're into dancing then join the crowd. But don't pay for premium seats thinking you're going to have a better view, you won't see anything. Not trying to be negative because overall it is a fun venue and we had a great time. Just wish I had known this stuff before we booked our seats. When we went to a concert there it was sprinkling rain. It was so light you wouldn't even really get wet except for the fact that the netting over the seats collect the water and unfortunately our seat was one of the very many that has a constant drip directly on you and your seat. Many people had to vacate their seats or get wet. Again, if you go down to dance by the stage it's not a big issue, but if you want to enjoy sitting in your seat, that makes it very unpleasant. If you are staying in Ojai I recommend hitting a show here. Even though most are smaller or less known performers, the venue makes it a great experience. Clearly most of the attendees are locals as they all seem to know each other. They were very friendly and a pleasant crowd. There were one or two vendor booths with some very basic food including hot dogs and baked goods. There is also a beer and wine Booth with typically High Venue pricing. But at least it's on site and available.
