Beautiful selection with a friendly and helpful staff. We're always excited to come here. This review in particular is written for one of their employees, Andrew, who last month patiently answered dozens of our questions in hot weather over the course of an hour. We left feeling empowered to take better care of our plants, and with a few beautiful and durable additions to our little garden. Thanks Andrew!

I needed advice on tree replacement and was lucky when Tony helped me. I had done a lot of research and was so pleased when he knew what I wanted. We discussed the pros and cons of my choices....and he suggested two other possibilities. Highly recommended with gratitude!

I used to live a block away from this place and i never really went here until the last few days before moving out. I didn't know what i was missing! I love coming to see all the plants they have, especially the succulent & indoor section. I got a cone flower a few months ago but sadly it died because I was still new to taking care of plants, but recently I've been loving the hypoestes and cacti I got from there. They've been doing a lot better and I love how they brighten the room. I learned a lot just from reading their care guides and website. Prices are fair and sometimes a little too good xD. I recommend this place for all plant lovers

We have a few white poinsettia plants right now, mostly 4-inch and one 8-inch. We should be having more come in this week, probably on Wednesday, Nov. 18; however, please call first to confirm that our delivery has arrived. (650) 368-5908.
We don't have any Osmanthus x Burkwoodii in stock right now but our buyer thinks he may be able to order it for you. Please visit the nursery or call our front desk at (650) 368-5908 to place a special order. As far as planting this sweet olive in a container, the plant's mature size is 10' x 10'. It would have to be a very large container and probably not ideal for the plant in the long term.
We have a quantity of (5) five-gallon Madagascar jasmine (Stephanotis floribunda) plants in stock. The grower is Monrovia and they are staked. The price is $89.99/each. Our buyer has not been able to order Madagascar jasmine in a one-gallon size for the last four to six months. Unfortunately with the Covid-19 pandemic, plants that we usually order easily can be difficult to find.
We do not have sunflower plants in stock. Sunflowers grow very quickly and you may want to consider starting them from seeds.
We are out of creeping thyme at the moment but our bedding buyer can order it for you. It comes in cell packs. The buyer said if you call the nursery and place a special order, she can try to have it for you later this week, depending on when you place the order and if our growers have it available. Please call the nursery at (650) 368-5908 if you would like to order it.
Yes, we have Meyer lemons in stock right now. We have 5-gallon bushes ($64.99), 5-gallon espaliers ($139.99) and 15-gallon bushes ($149.99). We do deliver to Atherton. Please call the nursery at (650) 368-5908 if you would like to place a phone order for delivery.

We do not have the 'Charlotte Armstrong' rose in stock and our buyer will not be able to order it this year. Unfortunately our growers do not have it.It's a beautiful rose and we hope you will be able to find a source for it.
Yes, we are open this Saturday and Sunday. We are now open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with social distancing protocol in effect.
The bare-root roses we have in stock now are hybrids. We have hybrid teas, floribundas, grandifloras, and climbing roses - all of these are hybrids or cultivars. If you are looking for species roses and not cultivars, we will have a selection in stock but not until the spring. There are only about 300 species of Rosa, whereas there are thousands of hybrid selections. Our horticultural expert, Andrew B., is here at the nursery Sunday through Tuesday and also on Fridays. He would be happy to give you more specific information and can be reached at Wegman’s Nursery at (650) 368-5908.
