Last Sun, I made a reservation for my dog to be boarded at the Daly City PetSmart today thru Sun. I got a phone message that confirmed the reservation on the same day and an email confirmation on Mon. Since they require every 6 month Bordetella vaccine, I have to get my dog the extra dose of vaccine on Mon. Went to check her in this morning and was told that they have a new policy since May, and can only take dogs 14 years and younger. My dog is 15. They left me stranded right when I needed to leave for my trip. This is completely unacceptable!! The intake person did try to call around to see if some other pet stores can take my dog. But come on, think through your process when you are implementing a new policy: educate your staff who confirm the appointments, update your intake form online, put the information on your consent form and prominently on your website. Your failure to do all of these should not result in your customers scrambling to find care for their pets last minute. Sorry, but you just lost a customer for good!!

While the inventory was fine, the staff never asked neither myself or any of my four family members if we needed assistance. We were in a bit of a hurry. We found most of what we needed, but by the time someone came to help my son with feeder goldfish, about a 15 minute wait, my wife was checking out and we had to skip the fish. Two stars is being generous.

Clean, friendly. My daughter's dog was at Doggie Day Camp. Great activities for him. If your dog or cat needs a "human break " this is the place.

Incompetent Store Management and policies. I have been taking my pet here for years and ever time I go the policy changes. Today I was 10 min early and they would not check me in. Told me to go shop and come back at exactly my appointment time. Is this a new policy to see if they can ring even more money out of you. Then when I went back at exactly my appointments time they were too busy to even allow me in the room. Again wasting my time. The groomers are mostly very nice and competent and grossly underpaid. They should take money away from the incompetent store managers and pay the groomers better.

Yes you can
They do have an in house vet. So, I would say yes
They did have a few about a month ago. Not sure as of now

Question from this gentleman.I don't seem to see such pets sold.If you have time, you can go in and ask where you can buy it?Sorry, I can only answer your question.very sorry.Today is Christmas and I wish you a Merry Christmas!
Probably I would call and ask. I've never had to use anything other then treats and verbal reinforcement.
I don't think so, there's a couple pet places in SOMA that I think do
I would find a dog friendly hotel, there are many in the area. It is about $50-85 a night for boarding
You have to contact the store this is just contacting other members
