For some reason this is under my wife's Google account. Oh Well; I (John) have been a scout and scouter since 1948. I am an Eagle Scout, as was my father, my son and my grandson. I am also a Silver Beaver recipient. My wife is an active scouter as are my daughter, daughter-in-law, son, grandson and granddaughter. Scouting is a major part of our lives. It is where I met my wife when I was the waterfront director at Camp Tahquitz. All the members of my family are inducted members of Tribe of Tahquitz honor society. There is no finer experience for youth (and adults) than scouting.

My son has grown in so many amazing ways over the years. From Tiger to his current ranking as Star, he’s learned leadership skills, independence in camping, and how to work as a team player. LB BSA is an important part of this journey.

We feel really lucky that our son is part of Pack 75 with the Long Beach Boy Scouts! He is surrounded by a great group of kids and a community of involved parents who care about teaching, learning and experiencing what life has to offer.
